About Gita Dialogues
Welcome.
Gita Dialogues is where I share what I have learned from the Bhagavad Gita and the tradition of inquiry called Vedanta.
The teaching is over two thousand years old. It has been passed from teacher to student, generation after generation, and refined by some of the most rigorous minds the tradition has produced. I received it the same way, from my own teacher, over many years.
I am still on that journey, and here I share what I have learned along the way.
Each piece is short and written in plain language. Read slowly, in order, and take your time with each one.
What you will find here
The Teaching lays out the Gita's core teaching in twenty-three short chapters, step by step. Start here.
Living the Teaching is five pieces on purpose, practice and inquiry, over months and years.
Dialogues are conversations with my teacher on the questions the Gita raises.
A note on what this is not
It is not a substitute for studying with a teacher. If you want to go deeper, find a teacher in this lineage.
It is not a wellness product. The point is to see clearly.
It is not religious in any conventional sense. You do not need to be Hindu, Indian, or religious to read it.
